apainintheneck 358a2ce788 dev-cmd/generate-*-api: add dry run option
There are two reasons for this:
- Makes it easier to run this command as a sanity check without
having to create a temporary directory
- Is somewhat faster since you don't have to write thousands of files

Homebrew Ruby API

This is the API for Homebrew.

The main class you should look at is the {Formula} class (and classes linked from there). That's the class that's used to create Homebrew formulae (i.e. package descriptions). Assume anything else you stumble upon is private.

You may also find the Formula Cookbook and Ruby Style Guide helpful in creating formulae.

Good luck!
